Vision

Vision – ICL was the moving force behind the initiative to establish a new innovative and unique international center – touristic, educational, principled, leading, dignifying the scenery and history of the site, and deepening the plants identity as Zionist and economic values

The Vision:

• Creating a connection between heritage and history, in a modern, experiential and attractive format, in deference to its historic role in building up the region and the country.
• A source of information for environmental education, sustainability, the combination of industry and environment.
• A leading tourism center in the Dead Sea region in cooperation with the communities and organizations active in the area.
• An informative, fun, learning center that will provide a glimpse into the industrial, social and economic activities of ICL while portraying the enterprises as having Zionist values.

In our vision we see a leading center that will constitute a source of knowledge on this special region, the Dead Sea, at all levels, a center that will tell a rich story of heritage, research, settlement and breakthrough industry, flourishing tourism and a local community that empowers the experience.

“A Pearl in Sdom” – an innovative educational, tourism center that will cooperate reciprocally with organizations and interested parties: government ministries, social organizations, domestic and incoming tourism companies, hotels, guest houses, the Tamar and Megilot regional councils, the Dead Sea land, the Masada National Park, and more.

The center will be an attractive focal point combining many and varied fields of interest.
